"Your credit union debit card has a pending alert. Call now (various numbers used) and follow
the instructions to resolve this alert." If you receive a text or e-mail...
stating this message do NOT call the number or give out any of your information. This is NOT a text or
e-mail from Luso Federal Credit Union; this is a phishing scam.

The U.S. Department of the Treasury recently announced that it will end over-the-counter
(OTC) sales of paper savings bonds at the end of this year. This includes...
sales of savings bonds through Luso Federal Credit Union and other financial institutions, as well as applications
mailed directly to the Federal Reserve Bank by customers.
While savings bonds will no
longer be available in paper form after December 31, 2011, they remain available for purchase as
electronic issues in TreasuryDirect.
Although Luso Federal Credit Union will no longer
sell paper savings bonds, we will still redeem them for our members. If you have any questions,
please go to www.treasurydirect.gov or call a member service representative at 413-589-9966 or
